The Administrative Core provides scientific and administrative leadership for the Center. It fosters transdisciplinary research among investigators and coordinates Center activities.
The Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Theory Core provides training and consultation on the biomedical aspects of substance use, HIV, HCV and related infections and the changing context of health care delivery. In addition, this core develops and provides consultation on integrative theory for the study of infectious diseases among substance users and their communities.
The Transdisciplinary Research Methods Core trains and assists investigators in the use of optimal research designs and methods, including research synthesis.
The Pilot Projects and Mentoring Core promotes pilot testing of innovative research ideas and coordinates mentoring activities.
