PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project evaluated whether enrolling smokers in treatment is more effective when using an opt-out approach, so that smokers must choose not to be enrolled, versus an opt-in approach, where smokers must choose to be enrolled. In addition, it assessed which approach results in greater engagement with the Quitline or text messaging, and which was most cost effective.
