Betty Kolod is an internist and preventive medicine resident at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). She trained in the Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She provides primary care and HCV treatment for people with substance use disorders at the REACH program at Mount Sinai, in addition to smoking cessation care at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx. She has collaborated on studies of peer outreach worker-mediated engagement of women living with HIV, and HCV risk and treatment in people who inject drugs. Dr. Kolod is active in physician advocacy and organizing, with an emphasis on community-leadership and collaboration. Publications
