This mixed methods study investigated poly drug use, drug use trajectories and overdose risk among people who use drugs in three upstate New York cities (Rochester, Plattsburgh and Utica). The study used a combination of quantitative data collection, in-depth interviews, urine toxicology and hair testing (for known and unknown exposure to over 160 drugs).
