PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In this pilot study, the ADAPT-ITT framework will be used to adapt and pre-test an integrated evidence-based peer-led social capital intervention to improve HIV prevention and care to the social context of sexual minority men (SMM) in Nairobi Kenya. This intervention will integrate the effective components of two efficacious interventions: the Kanyakla intervention conducted in Homa Bay, Kenya for people living with HIV, and the PrEP Chicago intervention conducted in Chicago IL USA among Black SMM vulnerable to HIV. The adaptation and pretesting will be implemented virtually, in collaboration with our colleagues in Nairobi.
