PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The study focuses on people with intersecting vulnerabilities whose HIV risk is disproportionately high and for whom the emergency department may be the only source of care.
The study will:
- Identify patient preferences for receiving PrEP services
- Revise and develop strategies for screening, education, acceptance and linkage to care
- Implementing the strategy in an emergency department setting and optimize each component
- Assess the effective of the intervention to referral to PrEP service only.
