PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The study developed and tested a new model of integrating substance use screening and brief interventions in primary care settings.  The Substance Use Screening and Intervention Tool (SUSIT) utilized health information technology to assist primary care providers in addressing unhealthy drug use by providing patient self-administered screening, clinical decision support, and clinical reminders.
