“Further, I identify as a person in recovery from addiction. During challenging periods of active drug use, behavioral health services saved my life: individual and group therapy, inpatient hospitalizations, and medications gradually allowed me to reduce my substance use and mitigate the destruction I was causing the personal and professional dimensions in my life.”
