PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This mixed-methods study evaluates the rapid expansion of mobile harm reduction services across New Jersey. The project combines a statewide survey of 574 clients across 13 mobile service sites, and rapid ethnographic fieldwork and qualitative interviews. It explores clients’ experiences of accessing services, perceived changes in health and social outcomes, and patterns of naloxone carriage and administration, with particular attention to inequalities in access and engagement. Working with harm reduction providers and community partners across the State, the study aims to identify effective service delivery practices and opportunities to strengthen the program.
